All information shared during sessions is kept confidential.
Your personal details, session content, and records are not disclosed to third parties without your permission, except where required by law.
Legal Exceptions
There are limited situations in which I may be required to disclose information without your consent, such as:
- When there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others
- When required by a court order
- When mandated by law in cases involving abuse or imminent danger
Only the minimum necessary information will be disclosed.
Disclosures Requiring Your Consent
Any disclosure outside of legal exceptions will only occur with your explicit consent. Examples include:
- Coordination with other healthcare providers
- Providing documentation for academic or workplace accommodations
- Consultation with another professional
You may withdraw your consent at any time.
Continuation of Confidentiality
Confidentiality continues after our work together ends, including after your death.
Your records are handled appropriately and are not used for any purpose unrelated to your care.
